Nestled in the heart of Howden, The Wheatsheaf is a traditional country Pub offering a genuinely warm welcome, with a lovely range of quality cask ales & hand picked guest beers. The Wheatsheaf is a haven of genuine warmth with a lovely friendly informal atmosphere. We are a Dog friendly Pub 🐾 and always have a roaring open log fire during the winter. We have proudly just gained a full 5 Star Food Hygiene Award. with a newly refurbished Kitchen we are now serving Beef burgers/minted Lamb burgers/Cheeseburgers with home made chips on a Friday and Saturday . Then on Sundays hot beef, pork and lamb in a freshly baked roll              ( meats rotate weekly ) with our delicious home made roast potatoes and a pot of gravy. Come and give us a whirl!
